I am really quite shocked that people don't seem to recognize a hand. The thumb's metacarpal comes out basically from the base of the wrist, and its distal phalanx would end about where the proximal phalanx of the other fingers start. So the only way this hand would be somewhat anatomically correct would be that the thumb is hidden by the perspective.
