I'm looking for an interesting robotics project to join for R&D or as a part-time CTO around beginning of 2026. My dream job would be to finally build a robot that'll clean up my kids' LEGO mess.
My claims to fame are designing a #1 ranked speech recognition AI model, shortly ranking #1 on the Sintel AI vision benchmark, winning the mid-season finals of a CoderOne reinforcement learning AI competition, and my 3D audio software being visible on-screen in an interview about a Lucasfilm's Red Tails. Plus I've been running SaaS start-ups as CEO then CTO since 2009. I also have experience with hardware, firmware, CAD, casting/molding/manufacturing, CNC, and robotics, but there pretty much everything is still behind NDAs.

What I’m looking for:
• Roles: Senior / Staff Backend, Senior Full-Stack, or Tech-Lead positions
• Engagement: Long-term, direct hire or contract-to-hire with meaningful equity; I enjoy building products and teams, not just features
Why me:
• Designed & scaled a payment platform serving 1000+ merchants and processing billions of USD in the last 4.5 years.
• Habitual refactorer: cut 700 Django migrations to <200, shaved 60 % off deploy times, and drove P99 API latency below 150 ms
• Clear, async-first communicator; fluent in English
• Enjoy mentoring, code reviews, and turning business specs into maintainable architecture
If you need a senior engineer who can own a codebase, level-up the team, and ship reliably, let’s talk.

Hi I'm a backend engineer with systems thinking and clean code habits. I started at Earthlink, Iraq’s largest ISP. Later, I joined Automattic, makers of WordPress.com and WooCommerce, working in fully remote, async teams across the globe.
Been building backends since 2017. I care about elegant abstractions, scalable systems, and code that’s easy to reason about. I’ve shipped and maintained high-throughput services in production, and I’m comfortable owning features end to end from design to rollout.

I'm looking for a native Android position with the possibility of doing iOS also or Kotlin Multi Platform.
I have a tonne of experience working on native Android projects of my own, and contributing to open source projects. My career has mostly been in the Microsoft mobile space - Xamarin and MAUI. Sometimes recruitment don't see that this has given me a huge exposure to native code with the native bindings for these platforms.
I'm hugely interested in security and privacy and I'm hoping my next role involves these areas.
Above all else, as the resume says, I'm looking for a company that is trying to build high quality software and putting the user first.
Thanks for reading!

With eight years of software engineering experience, I've developed technical expertise and leadership skills across fintech, SaaS, and enterprise environments. At BR-DGE, I led a 10-person cross-functional engineering team, maintaining hands-on involvement in architecture decisions. Throughout my career, I've balanced coding with leadership, having architected and delivered multiple full-stack products that directly generated sales while mentoring junior engineers and establishing best practices.
My approach focuses on balancing business requirements with technical excellence to create maintainable solutions. I'm particularly effective at bridging communication between product stakeholders and engineering teams, ensuring alignment and translating business needs into technical implementation.
I'm seeking a Senior/Lead Engineering role where I can leverage my technical depth and leadership experience to drive excellence and innovation while contributing directly to complex problem-solving. I'm drawn to opportunities where I can deliver impactful products while continuing to develop as both a technical expert and leader.

Hi,I have over 20 years in the industry starting out as a Linux SysAdmin / Network Engineer and now doing more Systems / Low level Programming, R&D, and occasional DevOps.
Looking for opportunities involving low level / embedded systems / backend software development. Happy to also do automation / SysAdmin / DevOps as well. Although not my forte, I like to do robust automated testing / QA for software to ensure they meet (potentially undocumented) requirements.
