Hi, I'm Nicolas, a versatile software engineer with 7 years of experience, looking to replace my current 4/5 part-time job with a more meaningful one. I’ve worked across various domains and stacks, often bridging core logic, infrastructure, and product-level concerns. I adapt quickly, enjoy learning, sharing, and value autonomy just as much as collaboration. I’m especially drawn to roles where engineering serves a larger purpose — whether societal, environmental, or otherwise impactful. I'm open to positions in software craftsmanship, devops, backend, fullstack, or any unexpected role where I can help build something that truly matters.
Remote: Preferred, but open to hybrid and on-site as well
Willing to relocate: For the right opportunity
Technologies: JavaScript, TypeScript, Ruby, Python, React, Kotlin, AWS, Docker, Terraform, Kafka, Debezium, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
Résumé/CV: Available upon request

Hi, I'm Nick! I'm a software engineer with 3+ years experience developing fullstack web applications. Most recently I worked on Tumbleweed (https://tumbleweed-cdc.github.io/), an open-source framework for creating Change Data Capture pipelines, streaming captured data changes from a connected Postgres database to microservice consumers in real-time. I'm passionate about collaborating with others to tackle complex engineering problems and create impactful software. I'd love to work on a team that sets their egos aside so we can accomplish our goals, and really value great communication and empathy. If this sounds like a good fit, I'd love to hear from you!

Hey HN,
My name is Kyle Hayhurst, a Senior Software Developer looking for some interesting work. Over the past 15 years I've designed, built and scaled enterprise-grade applications across the full stack:
JavaScript/TypeScript (React, AngularJS, Node.js)
C#/.NET Core APIs
Python-based services and AI/RAG integrations
Containerized deployments with Docker & Docker Compose
Message-driven architectures using RabbitMQ
Cloud hosting on AWS (Lambda, ECS, S3)
I love diving into new challenges. Whether that’s architecting microservices, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, or automating data workflows. I’m looking for contract or full-time opportunities (remote preferred) where I can collaborate with teams to tackle complex problems, streamline development, and ship quality software.
Please feel free to reach out!

Hello!
I am a senior full-stack developer with over 5 years of experience building applications for the United States weather service (NOAA, NWS, OHD, NOMADS, etc.), Minnesota schools, and non-profit organizations. I started out building front-end apps and grew to love the back-end/cloud as well (it is so nice to write database/API/CMS/cloud helper programs quickly in Node, Python, Go, C++, etc.!). My most involved project was working across the stack on a hole-in-one application for the weather service that consolidates a suite of old applications. I am flexible and love wearing many hats of technologies & procedures. My previous work comrades always described me as high-spirited, excited, and always amped to take on challenging tickets (for example: I built a node.js helper application to migrate 10,000+ vanilla JS/HTML web pages to a tricky CMS).
I'm all sparkles when it comes to full-stack development! I am actively looking for remote full-time or contract work. While that for loop is running, I am deep diving into new tech/AI && full stack projects, such as the Stone King Wiki, Magic: The Gathering Assistant v2, and a touch-focused app similar to what Hans Zimmer uses as the primary console for extending his music composition capabilities.
Remote: Yes (preferred)

Hello I'm Jordan, I have 15+ years of experience with full stack software development, and leading technical teams. I've been CTO a few times, worked in/for startups, consulted for fortune 500s, and worked on public sector modernization projects.
What I am good at:
- DevOps
- Building teams that get things done. I love getting to the point where product owners (voluntarily) say "how about you guys in engineering do whatever you think is best, because we need some time to think about these features requests before we know what more to build"
What I'm interested in:
- DevOps/DevEx improvements,
- Improvements to containerization, eBPF, MicroVMs, Linux internals
- I like smaller (< 50 person) companies of all kinds
I am flexible in regards full time, part time, contract, occasional consulting.

I'm a self-taught prototype product developer who thrives on building what doesn’t exist yet. I take ideas from market insight to fully functional hardware — engineering, fabricating, and testing every piece myself. I’ve launched my own successful 3D printer hardware business, filed provisional patents, and created viral community projects that influenced commercial designs.
My background includes developing embedded systems, vehicle-mounted hardware, and functional electromechanical builds — including a smart navigation unit before CarPlay existed, and a sim racing cockpit that's now widely replicated and commercially echoed.
Looking for a hands-on R&D or advanced prototyping role in automotive, aerospace, robotics, or technology-forward consumer products, ideally on a small, fast-moving team solving novel problems.
