I’m a full-stack developer with a preference for backend. Over the past 20+ years, I’ve worked in everything from avionics to WordPress to heavy GIS data processing. I love solving complex problems (make them as simple as possible, but no simpler), designing for scalability and sustainability, and mentoring engineers.I’m a builder and coach at heart, and will happily build software, do product development, architect systems, or step into a leadership / management role. That said, you don’t want me to be your interface designer, but I can implement someone else’s design just fine.
It seems I do my best work as a strong #2, supporting a leader that values ideas and feedback, whether in a management or IC role. (Working Geniuses: invention and enablement. Working Frustrations: galvanizing and tenacity)

Hello! I'm Ricardo, a Full-stack Engineer with 12y+ of professional experience, and a strong emphasis on backend development. Additionally, I hold an MBA and have prior experience in startups, administration and financial analysis.
For over a decade, I worked at the same company, designing, developing, and deploying a suite of enterprise applications serving 750+ active daily users. These systems have operated seamlessly and unattended for the past year and a half, showcasing my commitment to building robust and reliable software.
Most recently, I contributed to a YC S24 startup, leading the development of several MVP features such as external service integrations, TOTP-based MFA, and user-facing workflows.
I'm passionate about solving complex problems and creating efficient, scalable solutions. I'm particularly drawn to projects that align with my ethical values, avoiding industries that harm the environment, compromise health, or raise ethical concerns. I aim to contribute positively to the world through my work.
Feel free to reach out!
Remote: Yes. I prefer this way of working.
Willing to relocate: No.
Technologies: Go, Postgres and MySQL, Linux, and some BSD (OpenBSD and FreeBSD) system administration, Rust, JavaScript and HTML. I've dabbled a bit in Elixir as well, and would be very keen to try working with it professionally.

I am currently working as a software engineer for a large web hosting company. I'd like to change roles to work somewhere I can learn more and work remotely full-time. I'd really appreciate a team that values simplicity. When writing HTTP APIs in Golang, I'd like to be able to use just the standard lib, instead of a Perl compiler that transforms a set of YAML files into a gargantuan caricature of an enterprise Java web server.
I am an excellent communicator, that is probably my greatest strength. I'm curious, I'm honest, and I'm kind. My favorite feedback from a manager that I've gotten is that I get along with everyone. I greatly appreciate logical rigor, and make a sincere effort to regularly examine my beliefs, in order to discard useless or false ones. I have a solid mathematical background - my undergrad and master's were both in mathematics, with a specialization in theoratical computer science and discrete math, and I regularly practice maths, often with friends, for the fun of it. I love software. If you want some examples of my latest work, I encourage you to go look at my codeberg account:
If you think you might enjoy working with me, I'd love to hear from you.

I have over a decade of experience with Angular, and I teach other developers how to use every new feature, providing clear explanations to the Angular community through my [blog](https://medium.com/@eugeniyoz).
I could create a new Angular app using Nx, Angular 20, Tailwind 4, Playwright, and Vitest, making it 100% zoneless with outstanding performance and low memory consumption. Or, I could assist you in fixing bugs in an existing app, improving performance, and implementing features of any complexity.
Types of projects I’ve worked on:
* CRM - Tickets, chat, dozens of dynamically modifiable reports, charts, editable tables.
* Warehouse Management System - Barcode scanner, mobile app (Ionic), dashboard app.
* Vodafone Site Management - App for managing over 100 types of devices (with dynamically generated forms for each type), geolocation tools, 3D room editor (three.js), charts, and real-time data synchronization across tabs.
* correkt.com - e-commerce site with modern UI, SSR, zoneless architecture, Tailwind CSS 4, hydration, and various performance, SEO, and Core Web Vitals optimizations.
* and 30+ other projects, from small startups and individuals to large enterprise companies.

Hello!
I am a senior full-stack developer with over 5 years of experience building applications for the United States weather service (NOAA, NWS, OHD, NOMADS, etc.), Minnesota schools, and non-profit organizations. I started out building front-end apps and grew to love the back-end/cloud as well (it is so nice to write database/API/CMS/cloud helper programs quickly in Node, Python, Go, C++, etc.!). My most involved project was working across the stack on a hole-in-one application for the weather service that consolidates a suite of old applications. I am flexible and love wearing many hats of technologies & procedures. My previous work comrades always described me as high-spirited, excited, and always amped to take on challenging tickets (for example: I built a node.js helper application to migrate 10,000+ vanilla JS/HTML web pages to a tricky CMS).
I'm all sparkles when it comes to full-stack development! I am actively looking for remote full-time or contract work. While that for loop is running, I am deep diving into new tech/AI && full stack projects, such as the Stone King Wiki, Magic: The Gathering Assistant v2, and a touch-focused app similar to what Hans Zimmer uses as the primary console for extending his music composition capabilities.
I’m a backend-focused software developer with 9 years of experience building robust web applications and APIs across Python, .NET, and Node.js ecosystems. I specialize in scalable, well-tested systems using modern frameworks and DevOps practices (Docker, Azure, AWS). My work has supported high-scale platforms, live auction systems, and multi-tenant architectures across various industries.
Skills: Python, Django, Node.js, .NET, React, Docker, SQL, AWS, Unit Testing, TDD Experience With: Web Crawling, Text Processing, Regex, OAuth, CI/CD, Monitoring, Data Visualization, REST APIs,

Hi! Around 15 in IT industry, focusing on backend development, infrastructure and data pipelines. Have unique experience in building Nix-based mono-repositories and running production systems based on NixOS. Extensive experience in using Kubernetes for services and job scheduling, auto-scaled node-pools, and distributed data processing. 6 years university education in discrete math and databases. Fond of functional programming (F#, Rust, Haskell), but not holistic about it. Looking for mostly for remote work, but could consider relocation. You’re a founder with a small, engineering-heavy team. You’ve got early revenue, a growing user base, and real traction, but no time to keep talking to users. You’ve outgrown founder-led support, and now you need someone to own everything user-facing.
I’m that person.
At Pythagora (YC W24), I was the first customer hire. I built DevRel, support, docs, demos, community, and launch content from zero. I set up systems to pull user insights from Discord, GitHub, Reddit, and email and turned that into product direction. I ran influencer campaigns, launched features, and shipped full-stack demo apps to tell the product story.
Before that, I spent 7 years at Streak (YC S11), leading technical support, building internal tooling in SQL, Zapier, and BigQuery, and working closely with the founders to guide product.
I'm also a software engineer. I’ve built internal tools, demo apps, and full-stack open-source projects, including a deploy preview framework I documented in a full technical case study.
Looking for a small, sharp team with early traction, ideally post-launch with signs of real user pull, but still pre-scale. A place where I can be the bridge between users and engineers, and help drive growth without the fluff.

Remote: Yes (open to frequent SF travel / co-location)
Willing to relocate: Remote preferred, open to relocation for the right opportunity
