If the device is behind firewall and VPN, short of back door, is it still a security concern?

Take my money. I was so looking for something like this

I own two of those, and I have a third one coming in the mail.

Oh geez. I had some USB OTG prototypes of a device like this in 2019 over a Pi zero but nobody cared so I abandoned it. I even used mine in the field. Worked over LTE.

So disappointing. Ewasted it during Covid. And now... Looks like it's a hot field.

I need to do stop doubting myself. Somehow

The cringe thumbnails in the videos in the homepage and having discord for communication is enough for me to NOT use it or try it.
