Hi, I'm Jackie, I'm a professional software engineer with over 5 years' experience in industry. I mainly specialise in C# .NET (usually on back-end and testing but can work across the stack), but also have experience in Python and C++. I've worked extensively with legacy code and on new solutions, on every stage of development from design to development to testing to CI/CD and everything in-between. I've worked both in-house and for clients, alone and with a team, on small customisations and large production-scale solutions. I also have a BSc in Computer Science with Software Engineering as my academic experience. I like learning new things and being challenged, so don't hold out.

If you want a reliable, no nonsense software engineer who can handle whatever you throw at them, I'm who you're looking for.

Full-stack software engineer with about 8 years of professional experience. My career started out in Dept. of Defense contracting work, focusing on Python and Node applications for data processing and visualization. I then transitioned into a NYC-based startup on a small engineering team of five building a sales consulting platform, where I contributed on all aspects of the application (frontend, backend, database, GCP/deployment, CI/CD, security, Sentry, SAML/SSO, onboarding, emails, Salesforce integration, and more).

I've also built side projects, including: Vision Zero Reporting (https://visionzeroreporting.com) which earned 3rd place on Show HN and served as a panelist at the Vision Zero Cities conference; and Trash Panda (https://trashpandaextension.com/), a browser extension that removes social metrics from the web, including like counts, number of subscribers, views, followers, etc.
