Jason Scott (of textfiles.com) made a great documentary video about the Adeventure game. I picked up a copy at DEFCON about 15 years ago.

Great documentary, highly recomended. Small correction: it's not specifically about the game Adventure but about the genre it spawned, Text Adevntures (later called Interactive Fiction)
