I’m a product-focused full stack engineer with over a decade of experience in fiddling with software. My journey into programming began during high school when I started running my own gaming server. Since then, I’ve dabbled in open-source software and early-stage startups. I learn quickly and thrive in challenging environments where I get to take ownership of the work. Most recently, I worked at Jiva, an AgriTech transforming smallholder farming in Indonesia through tech-enabled supply chains. Before that, I was at a B2B SaaS reforming the headcount management space, and prior to that at a lending startup, where I dealt with all things tech while understanding credit cards and the compliance and regulations of running a fintech in India.
Senior full-stack engineer living in Tokyo. 10 years experience. Experience in multiple AI startups delivering fast product on top of internal ML models. Looking for a startup that has a vision of what to solve and knows their market; ambiguity and ideation stage is great, I'll help get your product off the ground.

Hello Hacker News! I'm a CompSci PhD (AI Multi-Agent systems... doing Agents' research back in 2004, before they were cool haha) and a passionate technologist with a warm spot for building high-impact products and teams.
For over 20 years, I've loved being a hands-on leader in FinTech, building everything from scalable crypto trading desks and AI/ML systems for fraud detection, to migrating entire platforms from monoliths to robust, cloud-native microservices. I thrive on aligning engineering with business goals and tackling complex distributed systems challenges.
Zero-to-One Success: Built foundational tech/AI/ML at a Fintech, enabling the company's Series A. Executive & Scaling Experience: CTO of a crypto trading desk; Head of Engineering, Product or AI/ML at high-growth FinTechs.
I'm actively looking for a remote role. I am most comfortable as first/founding engineer, also have been head-of/cto whatever the name building startup's technology teams. Right now I am most interested in doing AI/LLM work, like really pushing the status quo of both the Engineering and AI/ML. (I would love to get into something like SSI).

I'm a motivated final year CS student who will be ready for full time employment in 07/2026 so I'm seeking junior/graduate level roles that revolve around backend stuff and where I can learn a lot.
I started programming on my own at the age of 15. Since then, I have explored multiple areas, including mobile app development (native and Flutter), web development (React, Next.js, Vue), QA, MLOps, and AI/ML. During this exploration phase, I realized that I want to focus my career on backend development.
My experience includes several internships and side projects. In my most recent internship at JetBrains, I worked on the backend for remote Kotlin code compilation. Prior to that, I worked at Dell on the MLOps team, where I gained exposure to DevOps and some cloud technologies.
You can check out my resume and GitHub (link included in the resume) for a complete overview of my experience and side projects.
Most of my coding experience is in Java and Python. I also really enjoy Kotlin and I am currently learning Go (Golang) by building a simple VPN as a side project. I prefer working with strongly typed languages. For example, I don’t have much experience with Rust or C++ but I’m eager to learn.
Feel free to reach out to me via email or connect with me on LinkedIn. My personal details are included in my resume.

I'm a platform/infra engineer with a PhD in computational biophysics. I currently maintain hybrid infrastructure for an open source blockchain project and run my own small hosting company. On the side I also host my own infrastructure as a hobby, from the hardware to the nameservers and everything in between.
I’ve worked at startups in the past and am comfortable wearing many hats (and enjoy the variety).
