Bio:
Network Software Engineer (P2 @ Ciena) specialized in formal concurrency verification and high-performance system observability. I focus on "Architecture Over Intelligence"—building reliable agentic workflows where correctness is enforced by the system design rather than probabilistic model outputs.
Key Projects & Impact:
Clotho: Built a deterministic interleaving orchestrator that uses AST-level hijacking to verify Python codebases. It prunes $O(N!)$ state spaces into $O(2^{C})$ Mazurkiewicz equivalence classes via Source-DPOR.
Project Oracle: Architected an AI-native diagnostic suite that slashed TTR for core FIB (Forwarding Information Base) issues from 4 hours to <3 seconds by establishing a C-state-to-JSON "lingua franca" for LLM reasoning.
Knowledge Recovery: Successfully decoded complex, undocumented legacy control planes into formal specifications to enable critical 6500-to-10.X system transitions.
LTL-Driven Testing: Built a permutation-based framework using Linear Temporal Logic to auto-generate 8,000+ high-fidelity tests, identifying regressions in minutes that previously stalled teams for weeks.
I am looking for a new Senior Backend or Systems Engineering role where I can apply rigorous formal methods to modern AI-native or high-concurrency financial/distributed infrastructures.

Doing a working holiday in Japan, Osaka starting April 2026. I love building stuff, especially when it has to do with AI (mostly LLMs). I have tons of ideas, so in my freetime I turned many of them into open-source projects (see GitHub). At work I'm working with Java / Spring Boot and k8s - 50/50 split between Dev and OPS. I would be particularly interested in positions that have something to do with AI native software development/applications. The field is rapidly changing and I think there's a lot to explore. I've been bringing folk together online to build software for almost 30 years, and I want to help a struggling engineering department. CTO/VP/Director is generally the elevation I'm looking for, but if the title is manager and the rest is a good fit, that won't bother me.If you have an engineering department with any sort of significant struggle, reach out and let's talk about how I could help. Whether it's digging out of deep technical debt, facilitating difficult conversations, designing events for org alignment, or leadership coaching, I've done it before, and I want to help you with it.

What I’m looking for:
• Roles: Senior / Staff Backend Engineer or Tech-Lead positions
• Engagement: Long-term, direct hire or contract-to-hire with meaningful equity; I enjoy building products and teams, not just features
Why me:
• Designed & scaled a payment platform serving 1000+ merchants and processing billions of USD in the last 4.5 years in the middle east.
• Habitual refactorer: cut 700 Django migrations to <200, shaved 60 % off deploy times, and drove P99 API latency below 150 ms
• Clear, async-first communicator; fluent in English
• Enjoy mentoring, code reviews, and turning business specs into maintainable architecture. Work should be fun.
If you need a senior engineer who can own a codebase, level-up the team, and ship reliably, let’s talk.

Software backend developer with over 6 years of experience designing, building, and deploying production grade APIs and services. Proficient in FastAPI, Django, Flask, SQLAlchemy, Gino ORM, and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB). Comfortable setting up cloud environments on AWS (EC2, Aurora, ELB) and containerizing applications with Docker/docker-compose.
We are a small senior-only team of former startup founders and engineers who act as the technical engine for startups and scale-ups. We skip the junior developers and project managers to focus on high-speed shipping only. What we do:
* For Startups: We act as fractional co-founders, turning napkin ideas into investor-ready products. We’ve helped founders take ideas to $20k MRR in just a few months
* For Scale-ups: We audit and rebuild tech stacks to handle 100x growth.
* Our Background: Our team originated at Stanford. Our track record includes building core infrastructure for high-growth tech startups and global platforms. We’ve delivered 140+ projects over the last 20 years.
Our guarantee: We deliver a working product in under 90 days, or you don't pay.
If you’re a founder who needs a senior strike team to take full ownership of your roadmap, email me at hello@siroc.com

Pretty boring dude, 14+ years of experience in various areas of engineering. I'm looking to switch jobs only because I intend to move to Europe in ~2.5 years and that's a no-go with my current employer. I'm very interested in science and research. My professional work's covered in my résumé, but that's mostly boring. I've also written a NES emulator [1], an ECS-based Lisp machine/rule engine [2], a self-organizing gossip mesh that learns to play Flappy Bird [3], and ported _Zork_ to Clojure for no good reason [4]. I also started working on a Math/CS educational site late last year to combat a wave of depression [5].
I'm a bit of an odd duck and don't fit what many teams are seeking, but I'm always growing and getting better, usually in the weirdest possible way. If you're interested, I'd love to hear from you.
