Full-stack engineer with 5+ years of experience in decentralized and distributed systems and the Ethereum ecosystem. Looking for a full-stack or back-end engineering role in distributed systems, preferably working with Go and TypeScript/JavaScript although I'm open to learning about new languages and platforms. Something open-source will be a big plus.

Location: Huntsville, Alabama, USA

Remote: yes, or hybrid within a reasonable distance. The further away the job is, the less I'm willing to drive. Atlanta or Nashville would be OK for in-office once a month, for example.

Willing to Relocate: for a "too good to refuse" offer, perhaps, depending on locale; otherwise no

Technologies: Linux, BSD, C, C++, Chrome, Chromium, WebKit, telecom, RF, the written word

Required Compensation: You'll find there are advantages to hiring people from lower cost areas such as Alabama.

I built my own Linux distro from scratch, starting in 2019. It now consists of over 1,500 packages and cross compiles to multiple architectures. Along the way I've patched and/or forked numerous packages including Chromium, of which I'm currently developing a highly customized and slimmed down version. Other projects include a custom bootloader, initrd, init system, shell, libc, and window manager.

If this sort of talent is what you require for your project, please get in touch. No crypto or AI companies, please. (Unless you're developing your own proprietary or open source AI.) I am self directed and would be a great person to put in charge of something.

Anyone in the Huntsville area?
