Wordpress, like SQL, is probably immortal.

But it needs a better headless capability. Most separate front ends appear to be grafted on relying on plugins. Which doesn’t make a whole lot of sense.

I’m so glad I’m not a professional software developer because this stuff is so god damn stupid. This whole industry is a joke. I migrated my working site to a JavaScript framework. Oh look, a company vibe coded a Wordpress replacement yesterday, I migrated my site to that. Are there any serious people left? Or will I have to suffer the AI delusions every time I open a website or run an app or program? Is it even possible to live a “modern” life without using software? Because I’d like to. For my own sanity.

I'm a fan of Concrete CMS. No plans to switch away, and yes I am working with AI.
