When you look at the headers of major websites, you’ll see us. If it has to be performant, secure, scaled worldwide, and always-on, it uses Fastly.

We're hiring across compute, security, platform engineering, network and edge protocols, release engineering, network architecture, client services engineering, and more.

You’d be joining a rapidly growing team of former founders, engineering leaders and AI researchers from Google, Meta, Twitter, and Airbnb. We work in small groups, ship quickly, and value autonomy and ownership. No previous AI experience is required, if you have the engineering skills you can learn what you need on the job.
We're looking for senior engineers to work out of our offices in SF or NYC, or remotely. Please reach out to us at careers@surgehq.ai with a resume and 2-3 sentences describing your interest. Excited to hear from you!
Yello! I'm Ian, co-founder and CTO at Giftster. Giftster is an online two-way wishlist service tailored for families and friend groups. Founded in 2008, we have over 3 million members and counting. We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Python/Django Developer to join our web dev team.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of both building and running Giftster’s core systems. This includes our backend services, web platform, and mobile API—all of which power millions of wishlist interactions.
We’re looking for someone who can contribute across the full stack and is equally comfortable shipping new features and ensuring the system operates smoothly in production. Strong experience with Python is essential and Django experience is preferred.

We are building on our core product such as deploying AI-powered agentic systems that work alongside agency coordinators to handle routine coordination, outreach, and administrative workflows to improve agency operations.
We are hiring:
Senior Software Engineer: https://caribou.breezy.hr/p/66f1f5c2f30f-senior-software-eng...

We run the platform behind 10,000+ Odoo instances and we're looking for a Senior Platform / DevOps Engineer to join us.
Stack: Symfony/PHP, Ansible, Linux, PostgreSQL, Nginx, Python.
This is a senior role that spans both sides of the platform: backend work in Symfony/PHP, and ownership of the Linux + Ansible automation underneath. You'll be the person making sure the whole thing keeps humming as we scale.
We're a small team with high ownership and very little bureaucracy — if you like shipping over slide decks, you'll fit in.
Remote is fine as long as you can overlap with CET, or you're welcome to join us in Brussels.

We're looking to bring on a Senior Software Engineer on a B2B contract. Remote-first within Poland, with one 2-day onsite in Poznań each month. Polish language required.
What we're looking for:
- Strong backend experience with Node.js

- Not afraid to engage with the product side - thinking about users, trade-offs, and what we're actually building, not just how
Big pluses:
- DevOps experience
- AWS experience
- Frontend, Golang, or mobile experience
If you're a backend engineer who's also picked up infra/cloud chops along the way, we'd love to talk.
Interested? Send your CV/resume to recruitment@fixly.group and mention HN - we'll get back to you.
Kanary is a personal security platform that monitors the web to identify and reduce risk based on an individual's threat model. An executive has different exposure than a gamer, and our system classifies each person's risk across 55,000+ sources. We've been building since 2020, started in campaign security, data science, and government agencies, backed by Mozilla and Y Combinator. We have 200+ organizations on the platform and are fully funded by our customers.
Attackers have never had better tools. LLMs, social media, and search surface personal data in new ways. A few prompts can launch a deepfake and impersonation campaign. Risk sources appear and disappear across social platforms, telegram chats, and private data broker platforms. Kanary exists to play the cat and mouse game for people at the speed and scale of an agentic internet.
Kanary is a combination of software workflows (crawling, scraping, automation), AI (data classification, research, code generation), and people (analysts trained to support customers and escalate). This is dynamic system and requires an interest in adversarial programming.
We’re growing our team, and seeking a multifaceted engineer (2+ years experience). Our software stack is python, javascript, react, and for LLMs, we use Anthropic, OpenAI, and experiment with model fine tuning as needed. Experience with web scraping, data pipelines, or security tooling is required.
Email steven@kanary.com with something you've built and why it was hard.

Missive brings inbox collaboration to teams that run on email.
This isn’t your typical SaaS; it’s a full-fledged app users live in all day. We integrate with dozens of APIs and servers, process 10M+ emails, 100M+ requests per day serving thousands of users who collaborate in real-time. If you’re excited by data at large scale, complex edge cases and third parties that always find new ways to fail, this is for you.
Missive started over a decade ago. It is mature, still 100% founder-owned and highly profitable. We’re in it for the long run; a small, dedicated team building a product customers genuinely love.
We keep our stack simple and that doesn’t mean boring. The backend is a Rails monolith, Postgres, plus a few tiny services in Ruby, Node or Bun.

Return (https://return.energy) is hiring a DevOps engineer who will build and run the infrastructure behind platforms that accelerate the transition to carbon-free energy. Return's main activity is building and operating industrial-size Battery Energy Storage Systems. Our operations are located in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, and Spain. You will be making a measurable (country-level) impact on the transition to renewable energy. Return recently raised €300M to support its growth.
While we employ over 120 people, Return's technical team is still small (15 people). Our platform automates processes in energy storage, monitoring, market optimization, sales, project management, procurement, construction, and customer service. Behind it sits a mix of EU cloud and on-site compute at our battery sites, with strict uptime and security requirements.
During the first four years of operation, we laid the foundation for our platforms, and we are ready to scale up. This is why we are looking for an experienced DevOps engineer who can own the full picture: cloud environments, self-hosted infrastructure at our BESS sites, and the operations centers in Amsterdam and Eindhoven from which we run the fleet.
Your primary focus will be to design, automate, and operate the infrastructure that our virtual battery platform runs on. That means EU-only cloud providers for application workloads, hardened on-premise setups at our sites, and the connectivity in between. You will be the person who decides what gets deployed where, and who makes sure it stays up and stays secure.
