I got most of my must-haves for my car maintenance tracking web app out of the way. it already does everything I wanted all the paid alternatives to do, even has SSO integration (only Google OAuth for now). the other must-haves, I do actually need, but I think they can wait. notifications, and an export mechanism for my history (including file attachments). for now I think I'll focus on the other things I've been putting off, like upgrading my car's audio.

Lately I've been building Aho (https://aho.com) -- an API for verifying age, credentials, and identity using cryptographic proof from digital wallets instead of document inspection.

For context, I built out Playboy's age verification system, and watched as it hurt conversion (nobody wants to upload an ID to an adult website, who would have thought!). Cryptographic signatures from issuing authorities (DMVs, universities, employers, etc) with selective disclosure (e.g. you don't need to upload your full ID, just the fields that matter) is how verification _has_ to work going forward -- AI can fake documents, but not private keys.

I've been working on this 6 months full time, and implemented all the W3C VC, OpenID4VCI/VP, SD-JWT specifications myself.

Would love to get people's thoughts on it!

I am working on the agent-friendly scorer. It scores the public repos for their agent friendliness. The project also has a GitHub action to comment on the score delta in a PR comment. You can add it as a skill to find out which agent will perform better for the codebase.

How to use a spreadsheet for creativity

https://www.nair.sh/guides-and-opinions/communicating-your-e...

I finished writing that over the weekend.

I talk about combinatorial creativity as a way to be creative under time pressure. I had fun writing it, it'd been on my mind for weeks.

I'm working on a daily word puzzle game called Hinted. Wordle for people with half a brain. Streaks that are forgiving and a way to track your friend's progress. https://hintedgame.com

I'm working on StoryStarling (https://www.storystarling.com). You describe an idea for a children's book, optionally upload photos of your kid or pet to put inside, pick a style, preview the result, and order a printed hardcover. Bilingual if you want.

My partner & I have been making this wordle/wheel of fortune inspired daily - https://crosses.io

Each guess can be a single letter or a full word. Revealing letters helps you make word guesses, which are more efficient since it reveals all instances of those letters across the board.

It's been really gratifying seeing friends enjoy the game, now we're trying to figure out how to get in front of more players. Leave us some feedback if you stop by

I'm building (or rather rebuilding/pivoting my focus) CatchIntent (https://CatchIntent.com). The intent layer for B2B outbound.

The marketing site is stale with our previous offering, the demo of upcoming product is here: https://vimeo.com/1190884516
