Ask HN: What are you working on? (August 2026)

AI wise I’ve been refining my workout app for a few months and it’s ~90% there - I get good workouts now but I’m constantly tweaking / adding features. My kanban / planning tool has also become very useable with the latest updates. Next up I’m working more on a guitar practice app and a baby life app.
Ubisoft has decided it will not support Linux because they need kernel-level anti-cheat, which is absurd in my opinion.
I just want to do a siege with friends
It gives agents the ability to find website design references to improve their design skills via the mcp - https://design.withfudge.com/mcp
You can also critic your existing designs against competition.
When I enter a url to give me feedback for, it prompts signin, then returns you to the homepage instead of a review for the url you wanted a review for.
Conversations on the left should be named. Right now they're just "new conversation". These name themselves after the conversation is complete, but you should be able to fire off a query to a smaller LLM based on the prompt to name them asap.
The biggest thing though, the feedback it gave me was incorrect. Not the subjective parts, but the objective bits were incorrect. Here's what it told me:
> Change: Make the first viewport a contained product argument:
> 1. Navigation and one primary action
> 2. Short headline and supporting sentence
> 3. A real prompt-to-interface example
> 4. One compact proof point or “before / after” comparison
My landing page (https://diffui.ai) has nav and one primary action. It has a short headline and a supporting sentence. It has a real prompt-to-interface example. It has a before (prompt) and after (multipage web design) in the example.
I suspect that it got confused due to this being an interactive example, but a lot of this (the headline/supporting sentence) are present in the screenshot it took.
Overall though not a bad start. Good work sourcing references.
Sanctum already has very capable traffic analysis protections in place in the form of shroud, but being able to build mixnets will make it even more valuable.
But it’s been vacation time so it’s been slow progress as time away from the internet is equally valuable.
