I am working on agentic infrastructure for deploying very small production apps en masse.

In particular, I’m exploring what the infrastructure should look like when agents are the primary users: deployment, databases, domains, secrets, observability, and lifecycle management.

The goal is that everybody and their pet can deploy an app.

These units are called saasies, and the project is Saasie.

I am releasing my music player into open beta this week! I’ve been working on it for a year or so, created my own language, engine, and network protocol to make it all sync wirelessly, and with no AI :) https://github.com/mjdave/katipoBrowser

> Today, personal or community websites are rare, and are run by a dying breed of enthusiasts. Now our communications and our memories, our photos and our videos, our precious data belongs to Meta, Apple, Microsoft, or Google, stored behind walls of ads or subscriptions. The web infrastructure is now too complex for individuals or small organizations to operate at a low level, and it is owned and controlled nearly exclusively by large for-profit businesses.

So you recreate the internet from scratch?

I didn't see the music player, but that's frankly much less interesting than a parallel world internet: all that's needed is a new browser.

A music recommender website oriented towards albums.

Tell it your 5 favorite albums, get an immediate suggestions list. No sign up, free to use, integrated with Spotify to hear immediate samples (or the whole album).

I liked this. I agreed with most of the suggestions (primarily because I knew them already), so I know the "algorithm" is working. There were a couple of groups I had never heard before, so double success!

Orchestrating an AI agent built in native Object Pascal for Free Pascal Compiler and Delphi. Runs in less than 10MB of RAM. Besides being very Windows forward and local first; doing some fun things with it like incorporating WebLLM and running it in the browser inside a WASM Linux.

I'm building a way to build internal tools inside the Django admin and make them accessible to both humans and agents.
