A philosophical task manager, based on notable philosophers such as Baudrillard, Foucault, etc. It's been a fun game of reading these works, trying to distill their essence, and putting them through the LLMs to see what comes out. Currently it's not one task manager but rather many prototypes, and I'm trying to reconcile various design issues. In the same way that Marx's "philosophy" is essentially a "praxis" of political and economic power, which does not presuppose a "truth" but rather creates one, my task manager is a pragmatic tool for establishing the meaning of life.

I am working on Bonsai - an open-source conversational framework for brand-safe assistants and agents. It works with text and voice based channels. For example we recently built an email agent that qualifies leads and sends pdf offers back. 2 years ago (before open-sourcing) we built an AI podcaster that conducted interviews in a physical space. A laser cut Jigsaw puzzle design tool and generator, focused on making laser cut safe jigsaw puzzles with lots of whimsies and interesting connectors, etc. This way people can make their own custom jigsaw puzzles with the pieces they want.

Giving another round of attention to a CLI tool for handling RSS feeds. Over the years I've evolved several automated ingest flows, most of which are fed via RSS. For a long time, I used a setup based on rss2email, but it was baroque. Meanwhile, tools of a more standard design, like elfeed and newsboat, do not cater to my use cases. So, I wrote something that handles only feed management, fetching new items (i.e., <item> or <entry> elements), tagging, and searching the database. Other issues, such as download and storage of content, tagging policy, storage, and indexing are left entirely up to the scripts for which this is a building block.
