Istar's Spectrum rocket does not use RP-1 (kerosene), like Falcon 9 and Electron, which burns very dirty.

They are using liquid propane, which burns extremely cleanly, especially when combined with their liquid oxygen.

There is a lot of noise, but that should be the only pollution generated by this launch.

i was under the impression that the closer you launch from the equator, the less sustained force you need. wrong?

Right. You get a free ~1000mph from the equator.

Depending on the inclination - not much help to launch into a polar orbit for example.

The Germans also launched the first rocket to make it to space on June 20th 1944, though it wasn't privately made.

Space, yes. Orbit, no. From what I understand, orbit is much harder to achieve. Pedantic, but still.
