That control panel looks fantastic! Too bad I don't wayland. Last I checked, Mathematica doesn't like it.

This looks like peak skeuomorphism. I like it, but ray-tracing the desktop sounds like overkill.

That's a no for me - it seems like it would be a bear to use for more then 5 minutes.

I'm not sure if I feel the same way about skeuomorphism as a general design philosophy. Maybe this is just the wrong metaphor?

nice! would be cool to customize to different era's of office life ... or even a creative version, e.g. Picasso's desktop
