Don't Use This Code's mission statement grew out of a joke… let's look at something amazing that will change the way you think about this programming language feature or this open source library… just DON'T USE THIS CODE.
I (the poster of this) made a little of a name for myself in the Python community through this very approach. See: https://pyvideo.org/speaker/james-powell.html or https://www.youtube.com/@dutctv or https://www.youtube.com/@PyDataTV/search?query=james%20powel...
The core principle is: true expertise and expert knowledge is worthwhile to develop and disseminate (and this is true even if the LLM is doing a lot of the typing.) To this end, our goal is to deliver a combination of training, consulting, and hybrid coaching services to clients in the tech industry, in financial services, and at large-scale scientific research facilities. In fact, on the back of some recent successes, we are gearing up to build up a team and dramatically expand this work. Our work involves a lot of data analysis, data visualization, modelling, simulation, and experiment tooling system and infrastructure, and is currently very Python and PyData heavy.
We are looking to hire both junior and senior technical leads, as well as instructors.
We're just beginning to ramp up our hiring process, but provisional job reqs are available:
- Senior Tech Lead: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1_uJdBJlGmin4gQ_9kxxFS7cH...
- Junior Tech Lead: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1_uJdBJlGmin4gQ_9kxxFS7cH...
- Instructor: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1_uJdBJlGmin4gQ_9kxxFS7cH...
Given the nature of our clients, we are especially fond of hiring people with background in the sciences, including those in fields like biology or psychology, who have a strong (perhaps even self-taught) technical background.
E-mail with your résumé or LinkedIn and add any thoughts you have on developing and sharing expert knowledge: jobs@dutc.io

Do you feel scared and alone when opening the AWS console? Do you wish you could just tell Claude to manage your infra, and it would just work? Do you dream of a future where software is abundant and developers and normies alike are free to build their wildest dreams?
We're Railway, and we think infrastructure can be better. We're working at the forefront distributed systems engineering, interface design, and agentic computing to bring about the infrastructure platform we've always wanted. So far we've built out a platform loved by 4M+ users and we're just getting started.
Fair warning! The problems are complex: racking and stacking servers, home-rolled hypervisors, cut-above container orchestration, over/under/whateverlay networks, virtio device drivers, edge proxies, IAM that doesn't suck, kitchen sinks - we need to build it and we're looking for likeminded individuals who think this stuff is fun.
