At this point, with coding agents, it would be stupid to waste time with Postman. I already uninstalled it after using it for over a decade. Build your own simple tools for debugging, my friends. The old archaic era is over.

There are open source alternatives like Bruno (my favourite app ever).

And, if you need something advanced, just vibe-code it.

Postman went from a nice tool to an almost virus in just a few years. It's crazy that anyone still uses it.

Honest question, I wonder what postman provides now that I do all API shaped thing in Codex. I can't imagine myself going back to hand-writing json's in a UI.

That’s why we stopped using Postman 2 years ago. Another victim of enshittification.

We replaced it with an in-house CLI, docs, and a password manager, all driven by Claude

Unsurprising. I loved the tool but it was obviously time to drop it when they began pushing for logins.

At least it has never been easier to transition to another tool or to make your own.
