Ask HN: What's your current AI agentic setup?

I'm curious how people on HN are using AI day to day, and came up with a list of questions I thought could be interesting to know. No need to answer every question of course, just wanted to get a gut feel how people are using AI.

1) What AI subscriptions are you personally paying for? (Claude, ChatGPT/Codex, Cursor, etc)

- Which tiers?

- Have you purchased multiple subscriptions from the same provider (eg two Claude accounts)?

2) Are you using models outside (or instead) of those subscriptions? For example, pay-as-you-go APIs, OpenRouter, or locally hosted models.

- Which models and providers?

3) What coding harnesses and interfaces are you using? Are you sticking with the default CLIs or IDE integrations, or using alternatives like OpenCode, Pi, Aider, Muse Code, or custom-built harnesses?

- What made you switch harnesses (if you switched)?

4) Are you using any agent orchestration or swarm tools?

- For example, Munder Difflin, Gas Town, Ruflo, or something custom.

5) Are you using broader agent platforms like OpenClaw / Hermes Agent / Grok bot / Dots / Muse?

- If you are using them, what are your main use cases?

-----

I know my workflow has differed significantly from a year ago, and so it would be interesting to capture a snapshot today of what people are using and why.

1) None

2) Openrouter. I don't have a preference right now. All the top open-weight models work fine for my projects. Currently using Mistral.

3) I used pi for a while and lately I started using openrouter's ori coding agent. Working great so far.

4) None

5) None. I tried Muse for a while and it was too slow to do anything useful.

1. Personal Claude Max $100 tier; Work Claude Team, and ChatGPT Team. I use almost exclusively Claude Opus 5.5 Medium for everything. ChatGPT seems to miss a lot that Claude doesn’t; I’ll occasionally ask it to do an adversarial review where it finds something, but that’s about it.

2. No.

3. Claude CLI and Codex, but I rarely use the latter, and just call its review function from within Claude. If Anthropic didn’t require API usage for external tooling, I’d be interested in trying a lighter harness, but it’s not that big of a deal for me.

4. No.

5. No.

1) GPT plus, z.ai GLM Coding Lite-Monthly Plan ( legacy ), Opencode Go

2) personally, no. At work there is a Gemini Enterprise and Kiro Pro+ subscriptions

3) pi.dev inside herdr; both at home and work. I just pile the APIkeys and stick to same harness.

4) mostly, pi-subagents has an orchestration mode

5) no.

https://github.com/mkornreich/llm-desktop-electron with OpenRouter. I love Claude but Anthropic is expensive and too restrictive

Google Antigravity CLI using Gemini Flash 3.8 most of the time. Amazing what it can do.

For personal stuff, a $10/month OpenCode Go subscription with OpenCode, mostly running DeepSeek Flash. I've yet to run out of tokens.

Work provides an enterprise Claude subscription for work stuff, I've never hit any limits on that either.

For now, I have decided to refrain from using LLMs because I consider the technology a very serious threat to humanity. So my answers are:

1) None

2) No
