thelab (https://www.thelab.co) | Senior Backend Engineer | ONSITE (NYC) or REMOTE (US) | Full-Time

We are looking for two experienced back-end engineers: (1) one to lead work with our client’s e-commerce business; (2) a second to be part of a small team working on a greenfield project involving ML and NLP driven workflow automation tools. The ideal candidate would have experience working with large Python and Typescript codebases. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and is able to work with a team early on in a project, plan and identify requirements, see a project through to completion, and mentor junior members of the team along the way.

---

Di Rezze Family Office | AI-Native Technical Operations Lead | Miami, FL (ONSITE) | $130K-$200K + Early Equity | Full-Time

We're building an AI-native clinical data platform from the ground up, not a legacy system with AI bolted on. AI is core to the architecture, the development workflow, and the product itself. Fully funded by a private family office, no outside capital needed, no fundraising runway concerns. We're assembling the founding team now.

We're building a founding team to revolutionize healthcare in the United States, and we're hiring a technical operations lead. Best analogy: studio engineer to a recording artist. You own the environment so engineering leadership stays on high-leverage product work. That means CI/CD, QA, testing infrastructure, compliance documentation, and 30-40% independent feature development. Ground-floor equity in a company that's pre-revenue by choice, not by circumstance.

Hard requirement: you are already shipping software with AI coding tools daily (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar). Not curious about AI. Not experimenting. Actively building and deploying with it. If you can't show us something you built with AI tools in the last 60 days, this isn't the right fit. Stack: React/Next.js, Python, PostgreSQL, Docker, AWS. But we care more about polyglot instincts than any single framework.

What we're looking for:

3-7 years full-stack experience Strong QA discipline (you write tests because you want to, not because someone made you) DevOps comfort: Docker, CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure Self-directed. We don't micromanage and don't plan to start. Must be US-based or already have US work authorization. We do not sponsor visas.

What you get:

Meaningful early-stage equity (not a token option grant)

Direct access to founders and decision-makers, no layers

A say in the technical architecture from day one

Relocation to Miami fully covered

Health, dental, vision

Interview process: 15-min screen (show us your AI-built work) > take-home exercise > 2-hour paid working session > culture fit conversation.

Email: ksantos --at--direzzefamilyoffice.com, subject line "HN April 2026" so I can find you.

Assembly | Founding Engineer | New York City, Onsite | Full-Time

Assembly is a vertically-integrated, technology-native holding company that acquires industrial real estate. We take an AI-native approach across the full surface area of our business; data-based geography selection, owner outreach, due diligence, deal structuring / scenario analysis, property & tenant management, and more. Our intention is to build one of the largest real estate companies in the world, and to be the most technology-native real estate owner in history.

We are hiring a Founding Engineer (Full-Stack) to design and build our proprietary technology stack from inception. You will own the development of our tech stack and have significant autonomy to build. Experience with Python, React / TS, LLM APIs, data pipelines, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, web scraping and entity resolution are relevant.

Cash compensation of $250K - $350K with meaningful equity compensation as the Founding Engineer of a new business.

To apply, please reach out to swc[at]assemblygh.com.

Could explain the thesis/context a little more? Are you PE-adjacent? Are you trying to improve these sites/facilities? What exactly do you mean by "industrial real estate"? Are you acquiring just the sites or the facilities as well? Could you give an example of an asset and what levers you pull on it?
causalinf379 4/1/2026|||
Looks interesting and have always wondered if/why more real estate companies aren't taking a tech-first approach.

How did you decide on doing this for industrial instead of (for example) residential?

I'm interested but don't have much of a finance or real estate background. Is that a problem?

Thanks for sharing!

TechRealEstate 4/1/2026||
Thanks! We are focused on a particular vertical in real estate we believe offers an unusually compelling risk / return skew given structural growth in demand and significant barriers to new supply. No issue with relatively little experience in finance (our team has plenty) or real estate (our team also has plenty) if a strong fit for the engineering needs of this role!

eventfirst | Senior Full-Stack Engineer | Berlin, Germany | REMOTE (CET) | Full-time

We are applying AI to organize corporate events.

We are looking for a senior engineer with at least ten years of full stack experience, a strong focus on product and UX, and optionally some experience building LLM based products. Currently we are focussed on building tooling that enables us to capture domain knowledge from experts to streamline prompt creation and evaluation. Our tech stack is Typescript, React, Next.js and Tailwind. On the backend we use Drizzle with Neon, deployed and monitored via Vercel. Please note that we are working in the CET timezone. We have pre-seed funding from a major US VC and are experienced founders. You’ll be working alongside the founders (ex-Apple, ex-Airbnb, ex-Tulip, ex-Tourlane) and will have a chance to shape the company, product and of course the engineering culture.

Founding Technical AE | https://build.io | REMOTE (working hrs must overlap w/ N America) | Full-time

Build is a full-stack cloud platform — we own the stack from bare metal up. Our customers are engineering-led SaaS teams who've outgrown their current setup and want effortless deployment, real environments, and predictable pricing without the infrastructure overhead. Think teams escaping from Heroku, scaling past Vercel/Fly.io, or trying to escape AWS/GCP/Azure complexity.

We're hiring our first Technical Account Executive. This is a full-cycle role — you'll own outreach, discovery, and demos through to close, partnering closely with the VP Sales.

We're looking for someone with 4–7 years in devtools or cloud infra space who can hold a real conversation with engineers and understand what's actually broken in their setup. A background in cloud/devtools sales or Solutions Engineering but ready to own the whole cycle are both strong fits.
