We’re Quadrature, a technology company in the algo trading space. We use advanced machine learning on large amounts of data to predict trends in financial markets. More at https://quadrature.ai.
What makes us different:
- ~250 people, no traders — our systems trade autonomously.
- Single PnL.
- We don’t separate “quant researchers” from “developers” — everyone codes to a high level and has the opportunity to do research.
- Mission-driven: our climate foundation (https://www.qc.foundation/) has made significant divestment commitments over recent years. For many of us, it's why we're here.
We’re hiring Quant Developers — a generalist team of engineers and researchers who own both the research pipeline and software infrastructure across the entire business. Stack is Rust, Python and C++. We want sharp, collaborative people with no big egos.
Interested? Reach out here: li@qc.ai.
We're a well funded Series A company and [backed by a16z, Scale venture partners and founders of Cloudflare, DigitalOcean and Segment]. The company is between 50-75 people today and scaling up quickly.

Norm’s platform combines frontier AI, proprietary legal reasoning systems, and embedded legal and regulatory expertise.
We have recently raised more than $140 million, backed by Blackstone, Bain Capital, Vanguard, Citi, New York Life, TIAA, Coatue, Craft Ventures, Henry R. Kravis (KKR co-founder), and Marc Benioff (Salesforce CEO).
Norm Ai pioneered Legal Engineering, the process that empowers lawyers to build and supervise domain-specific AI agents with Norm’s proprietary suite of no-code software tools. We hired dozens of lawyers from premier U.S. law firms and trained them as Legal Engineers, who specialize in Large Language Model powered legal workflows.
Norm Ai technology is deployed inside many of the largest and most consequential institutions in the world. The company is growing quickly and hiring in NYC across all teams, including:
- Full Stack Engineer, Senior + Staff ($190k-280k)
- Engineering Manager ($235k-280k)
- Applied AI Engineer ($220k-285k)
- Forward Deployed Engineer ($145k-250k)
We're also hiring for many non-technical roles. These roles are hybrid/in-person in NYC. The best way to apply is online on our website (we review every application!). Full list here: https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/norm-ai?utm_source=7ow8wN5o3g.

Fractional AI operates at the forefront of applied AI, and we measure our success by the business outcomes we deliver in production — not by checking boxes on a SOW. We build production-grade AI systems that optimize core operations, automate internal workflows, and improve customer experiences. Every system is designed explicitly against clear business goals and North Star metrics (revenue growth, cost take-out or avoidance, churn reduction, etc.). Our role is to enable our customers to get past POCs and experiments into robust, real-world systems that reliably create value.

Hey, I'm one of Stellar's founders. We're building AI for large contact centers, our primary product is voice.
Everyone thinks contact centers are boring. They're wrong. It's the last place where companies actually talk to their customers. We listen to calls every week and it's fascinating. AI here helps real people: shorter wait times, 24/7 support, lower cost. We’ve helped companies go from 60 to 98% pickup rate in weeks.
We're bootstrapped, 10 FTE, cash-flow positive, and growing fast with household names in the Netherlands and Belgium. Doubling our volume every month for the last 4 months.
We’re all builders. Everybody in our company still writes code. We have 2 roles open:
1. We need product minded engineers who can jump between our Go and TS backends and React frontend.
2. We need implementation leads that love working with clients. FDEs welcome as well.
This role is perfect if you:
* Want massive ownership at a small team
* Actually enjoy solving hard problems (real-time audio at enterprise scale)
* Think making AI sound human in niche dialects is a fun challenge

Nuance Labs is building the first "human foundation model" — a unified system that understands and expresses human emotion in real-time across speech, facial expression, and body language. We are crossing the "uncanny valley" to create AI interactions that feel truly alive.
We recently raised a $10M seed round (Accel, South Park Commons, Lightspeed) and our founding team comes from MIT, UW, and Oxford, with deep experience shipping AI products at Apple and Meta. We are a small, fast-moving team that values in-person collaboration in our Seattle HQ.
We are looking for:
Machine Learning Infra Engineer: Own our GPU-backed serving stack, Kubernetes clusters, and media serving layer.
Systems Engineer (Real-Time Engine): Build our core server-side runtime. High-concurrency, low-latency systems. Python/Asyncio today, transitioning to Rust.
Why join?
Massive ownership in a high-bar, research-heavy environment.
Work on the frontier of multimodal generative AI and real-time graphics.
Competitive equity and the chance to shape a company from the ground up.
Apply: Check out the roles at https://www.nuancelabs.ai/careers and mention "hackernews" for how you heard about us.
We build sales tax compliance software so companies can focus on their product instead of taxes. We’re one of the fastest-growing players in the space, taking share from incumbents like Avalara.
We’re a small, high-ownership team. My team in particular is applying AI (agents + workflows) to automate and dramatically reduce operational overhead.
What you’ll do:
- Build product + AI infra across the stack
- Work on AI-driven systems (agents, orchestration, internal tooling)
- Ship quickly with real user impact, both internally and externally

I’m the CTO at GameBrain. I previously spent 6 years helping to build autonomous vehicle perception stacks at Cruise and Ford.
At Gamebrain, we’re applying SOTA computer vision models to help teams dramatically accelerate game prep and scouting, saving days of manual repetitive work per week to give coaches and analysts massive leverage over their opponents. One of the biggest unlocks: legal access to real, high-quality sports data through deep relationships in the sports industry. Anyone who has built production CV systems knows how rare, and how valuable, that is.
I'm hiring a Staff Deep Learning Computer Vision Engineer. If you've spent your career designing, training, and scaling complex perception stacks - in AV, robotics, AR/VR, or anywhere that demands rigorous 3D spatial reasoning and multi-view fusion - this role was made for you.
The engineering problems: automated homography with unknown camera intrinsics/extrinsics, temporal tracking through heavy occlusion, and multi-view sensor fusion.
We do not want a 50-person engineering org. We want a highly elite and specialized team to outperform massive legacy organizations.
You will own the zero-to-one architecture of our perception pipeline. We just hired an Active learning expert from the self driving car space who you will work closely with.
You must deeply understand projective geometry, representation learning vs. pixel reconstruction, and how to build robust active learning loops.
We compensate at parity with tier-one AV companies (Tesla, Waymo) for this role.
Location: Anywhere. Required to come to Troy 1-2 weeks per quarter (which we will pay for). Required to take meetings when needed during Eastern Time hours.
If you are a high-leverage operator who wants to build complex spatial architecture that actually sees production on day one, apply below:
