VersaFeed.com | DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT | REMOTE (USA ONLY) | Full-time

YES, THIS IS A SALES/BIZDEV JOB ON HACKER NEWS. WE LIKE TECHNICAL PEOPLE, WHAT CAN I SAY.

About us: VersaFeed is an adtech and data feed company for large ecommerce operations. We transform messy product data from enterprise retailers into clean feeds for Google, Meta, TikTok, and other global channels.

Job: You will prospect, nurture, and close enterprise deals using both existing channels and your own outbound initiatives. You will also solidify current agency partnerships and create new ones. As a foundational sales hire for VersaFeed, you will help architect the division and bring on additional sales and biz dev hires.

You: 7+ years enterprise sales in adtech, ecommerce, ad agencies, or highly related areas. If you come from the biz dev side, be heavily revenue-focused not "generic partnerships" focused. Strong technical skills, VersaFeed is an engineering-first company. Self-starter, not afraid to get your hands dirty.

Compensation: $225K–$335K USD/year OTE. DOE, 50/50 base/commission.

Benefits: 401K match (USA), healthcare, equity, fully remote. Stable company (19 years in business) with no time-wasters :)

Hey HN! Air Space Intelligence (https://www.airspace-intelligence.com) is hiring. We are a frontier AI and product company for the critical industries and defense, backed by a16z.

We’re rebuilding America’s air traffic control system from scratch. What we do in the next two years will define how this country moves through the sky for the next fifty.

At the core is one of the largest real-time optimization problems in the world: how do you safely sequence ~40,000 flights/day while routing around weather, military airspace, equipment outages, and constant real-world churn? The system has to be right every time, and reliable at scale.

We’re hiring across Backend, Infrastructure, and Frontend (ICs and Tech Leads).

One of our roles (with a small puzzle at the bottom that routes to my email): https://www.airspace-intelligence.com/careers/role?=1336c828... - include “HackerNews” in the subject so I can prioritize.

If you want a problem that is genuinely hard, consequential, and urgent - this is the moment to reach out.

There’s a note that there are “mandated certifications” with the federal government required for hire - is that a security clearance, or something simpler?

Marker Learning - Founding Full Stack Engineer – Remote (USA) – 180-250k

I have dyslexia. I was one of the lucky ones. Diagnosed at eight, I got accommodations and support before things spiraled. Most kids aren't so lucky. The path from initial concern to diagnosis can take years and cost families upward of $5,000. For many, it never comes at all. In one study, 50% of prisoners were found to be dyslexic, with 80% functionally illiterate.

Behind every missed diagnosis is a kid who gets told they're lazy, when the reality is no one ever gave them the right test.

Marker Learning is building an AI-enhanced assessment platform that makes identifying learning differences faster, cheaper, and more equitable, especially for multilingual students who are routinely misidentified or overlooked. Imagine if every kid could be screened for learning differences as easily as they're screened for vision. That's what we're building.

This isn't a chatbot or a homework helper. We're a Series B company backed by Reach Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, and Primary, running a multi-million-dollar longitudinal study spanning K–12 and developing the psychometric engine behind it. We need engineers who are excited by that.

We're hiring a hands-on full-stack engineer (React, Node.js, TypeScript) to help build and scale the platform: adaptive testing infrastructure, AI-powered scoring scoring and data pipelines, and the systems that maintain clinical rigor at scale. High autonomy, lightweight process, fast-paced. 8–10+ years, ideally with 0-to-1 or early-stage experience. You'll work directly with psychometrics, product, and data science, and the engineering decisions you make now will define the platform for years.

Reach out directly with your gh, linkedin, and resume and why you want this position to lucie@markerlearning.com. Please specify your location, if you are interested in full time, contract or open to both. Make the subject "Founding Engineer Application (I am not a bot)".

Microsoft | Azure Deployments & Bicep Team | Senior Software Engineer | REMOTE (US-based only)

The Azure Deployments & Bicep team aims to make deploying resources to Azure simple, safe, predictable, and reliable. We own the backend services powering Azure deployments, Bicep DSL, and various other services aimed at helping customers be successful with Infrastructure as Code. We are at the heart of the Azure Resource Manager control plane with great opportunities for cross-team collaboration and impact, have a lot of autonomy to shape the direction of our own products, and enjoy having a hands-on approach with customers to help drive our feature design.

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help maintain and build automation around our Azure Verified Modules offering in the short-term, but with the long-term goal of transitioning to work across all our core products. You will act as a lead for new features and functionality, as well as providing mentorship to junior colleagues. We're not looking for any specific language experience, but are looking for demonstrable leadership, mentoring and collaboration skills.

This role is only open to candidates with US work authorization.

Apply here, and please reach out to me (antmarti@microsoft.com) with your resume to let me know you've applied: https://apply.careers.microsoft.com/careers/job/197039355686...

Chestnut | Senior Product Engineer | SF or Seattle (Hybrid) | https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/Chestnut

I'm Nick, CTO & co-founder. We're Rippling, but for insurance carriers paying their sales force. Every policy sold triggers a chain of payouts across brokers, agents, and sub-agents. Today that runs on spreadsheets and legacy vendor systems and tomorrow they'll run on Chestnut. Nationwide and other major carriers have already made the switch.

Revenue is up 8x in the last year. We're backed by a16z. Founding team came out of leadership at Ethos (insuretech that recently IPO'd in January).

The work is state-heavy and correctness-critical: payouts that must reconcile with finance to the cent, dynamic agent hierarchies, retries, chargebacks, partial failures. These systems move real money and cannot drift.

You'll design schemas, build backend logic, ship UI, deploy, and own the sharp edges that show up with real enterprise customers.

Stack: Go, TypeScript/React, Postgres, Temporal, Kubernetes, AWS. We use AI aggressively and expect you to as well.

We're looking for 3–6 years on real product systems. You're thoughtful about invariants and failure modes.

Mitte (https://mitte.ai) | Berlin | ONSITE | Full-Time

Mitte is an AI creative suite. We've built our own media agent and we're hiring engineers who want this to be the best work of their career.

Founded by an ex-Superhuman lead engineer. Lean startup and unix philosophy run deep at Mitte. We ship every day and like to design systems, be thoughtful about patterns and primitives before scaling the codebase, especially with AI.

We're hiring:

- Backend Engineer (Elixir, Go) — own services end-to-end, from agent orchestration to the systems that move media at scale.

- Full-Stack Engineer (Go, TypeScript, Redux Toolkit) — build the surfaces creators actually use. Strong design taste and obsession with detail expected.

Berlin, on-site. We work in the same room because the product is moving too fast for anything else.

Reach out: careers@mitte.ai — tell us something you've built that you're proud of, and why it was hard. Berlin based applications only.

MintMCP | Founding Engineer / Founding GTM | SF Bay Area (ONSITE)

MintMCP helps enterprises safely roll out agents to the entire organization (e.g, governance around MCP tools and agents like Claude Code / Codex / Cowork). We're building an MCP gateway with abstractions useful for 1) preventing agents from doing the unintentionally bad things you hear about every week without constraining them to be useless, 2) getting the rest of your teams and organizations to adopt them with minimal friction.

We're a small team of humans with dozens of agents: our company operates on the infrastructure we build for enterprises. We're looking for agent-forward engineers and GTM folks to help solve scaling problems, maintain the highest standards for security, make agents and MCPs usable and useful.

If you have experience in infra, security, and agents, and believe MCP, while not perfect, will evolve to become critical AI infrastructure, you might find the problems we're working on exciting!

You can apply via MCP here: https://www.mintmcp.com/hiring
