Making rent as an open source developer.

Desperately trying to attract new monthly sponsors and people willing to buy me the occasional pizza with my terrible HTML skills. Is it working?

If any individuals, companies (or bitcoin millionaires) would like to help a long-time OpenBSD slacker, unslack, I'd really like to focus more of my time on open source development (and advocacy), rather than making rent. Feel free to contact me.

Thanks, but unfortunately I found nothing new there that's applicable in my case. Not looking for project grants or rigid commitment/goals based funding at this time.

Great to see everyone's projects! I'm building Splorbit - a bullet heaven game with high enemy density and juicy ball physics. It's built enitrely with web tech so you can play it right now in your browser: https://splorbit.vercel.app/ I really want the good old days of web gaming to return. I can't tell you how frustrated I am with platforms like Steam and App Stores. They don't earn their 30% and discovery is utterly broken. My dream is to make experimental/cool/whatever web games and distribute directly to my audience on the web.

I am building very high yield ETFs directory, like... Ponzi-scheme-alike levels of dividends, and I am collecting each and single RoC to actually know if they generate any income or do they simply pay your money back, I still have long road to go, but it is coming along.

"How much of each payout was your own money handed back." very interesting premise but the site needs more explanation of what that means and how it computes those numbers.

Agreed. Right now I am writing parsing part though, since how they issue RoC is not standardized (they are required by law but format and how they do it is not a standard).
